Memory Orb Review 2026: Is It Worth It? How It Works, Pros, Cons & Returns
Memory Orb is a keepsake ornament that stores and plays back your own photos and videos with sound. You load it over USB-C without an app, then hang it on the tree or set it on its stand all year. It is sold through the official site, in multi-orb packages too, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What is Memory Orb and how is it supposed to work?
Memory Orb is a small ornament with a built-in way to play back photos and video clips, including audio. It replaces a generic tree decoration with something personal: grandchildren, a wedding, a pet or a family trip.
Memory Orb ships with a hanging strap for the Christmas tree and a display stand, so it can stay out on a shelf or desk after the holidays.
How does Memory Orb work?
Memory Orb, according to the seller, works in three simple steps with a few built-in parts:
Who is Memory Orb for?
Memory Orb is aimed at people shopping for parents or grandparents who say they need nothing, couples or new parents marking a milestone, and families facing a first Christmas after a loss who want a gift with real meaning.
- Gift buyers tired of candles, mugs and gift cards
- Families who want to share video clips, not just photos
- Not ideal for last-minute shoppers, given shipping times
Does Memory Orb work?
Memory Orb's claims are easy to check once it arrives: it should load over USB-C, play photos and videos with sound and sit on a tree or stand. The seller does not publish detailed specifications in the reviewed material, so storage and battery details are unknown until you have it.
Memory Orb's 30-day return window gives some room to test it, but if it is a gift, keep in mind the window starts with your purchase, not with the holiday.
Pros and cons of Memory Orb
Memory Orb has a few practical limits worth knowing before you order:
What we liked
- Plays video with real sound, not just still pictures
- Works as a year-round keepsake on its stand, not only at Christmas

Worth knowing before you buy

- It is sold only online through the official site, not in physical stores.
- The ornament has some weight; hang it on a sturdy branch.
- Technical specs such as storage and battery were not detailed in the material reviewed.
- Loading the content takes some preparation before gifting.
How do you use Memory Orb?
Memory Orb setup: connect it by USB-C and load the photos and video clips you want. Then attach the strap to hang it on the tree, or place it on the display stand.
Memory Orb playback starts with a tap or touch on the orb. Load it the evening before gifting so the content is ready when it is unwrapped.
